No one wants 'Likes', Comment on things!

Standard issue set up rant for this blog post…

In the modern age we seem to be plastered wall to cyber wall, in social networks and the results of that are beginning to come in. It isn’t good. In fact, it’s fecking terrible. With depression, anxiety and, a host of other problems being linked to use (and over use) of these networks it seems as though there is no hope for my generation. I say this isn’t true, and I offer hope in the form of a comment. Lots of them.

Community

If you asked someone you didn’t know to help with something the odds are they will say no. If you ask someone you have connection with the odds are greatly improved. Even the simple act of being a regular commenter on a blog (hint hint) or post or picture means that you can build relationships with people. OK, lets not over do it. Its just a few comments on a post right? Not if you are the one who is asking useful question or supporting the people around your comments with advice day in day out. Put in the work.

With that in mind, what else do you feel builds community on the web? Feel free to COMMENT and if you fancy it, you could do the same on my instagram page: @itchyphotog
